STANDARD 100 BY OEKO-TEX®

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this article, i.e. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless for human health. The test is conducted independently by OEKO-TEX® partner institutes on the basis of extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalog.

GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD (GOTS)

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this article, i.e. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless for human health. The test is conducted independently by OEKO-TEX® partner institutes on the basis of extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalog.

Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibers can become GOTS certified. All chemical inputs such as dyestuffs and auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological criteria. The choice of accessories is limited in accordance with ecological aspects as well. A functional waste water treatment plant is mandatory for any wet-processing unit involved and all processors must comply with minimum social criteria.

HOW WE ARE PLANNING FOR A BETTER AND CLEANER ENVIRONMENT

GREEN ENERGY FROM WINDMILLS

We care for the planet by producing renewable energy from windmills and thus reducing the pollution from fossil fuels.

WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING

Home
Majority of our products are fully recyclable and environmentally friendly. But, that is not enough to control wastage of fabric. Fabric waste can be limited by careful utilization of raw materials and accessories in every stage of production spinning, weaving, printing, cutting, sewing etc. . We have a well-trained team of work force to manage and control wastage of fabric .This practice helps to control the wastage of raw materials and fabric to a great extent. We transfer the cotton waste fabric and bits of fabric to local recycling plants where they recycle them into recycled cotton which is again made into fabrics.

REDUCE – REUSE – RECYCLE

The plastic is a waste management problem. We have to use plastic wraps to protect our goods after many stages of production and transit. Plastic is durable, this also means plastic waste can be trapped in our environment for centuries if not managed well. As a solution, we are following the 3R’s (-Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) to limit plastic waste. Reducing the quantity of plastic as much as possible is our first initiative. Reusing or Recycling the plastic waste that is generated and returning it to the manufacturing chain reduces the need to produce virgin plastics, and unlocks the economic value of waste. We use recyclable plastic for packaging.

THE FUTURE INITIATIVES

Becoming an environmentally friendly business is more complicated. But we are initiating small steps to become a part of a sustainable and clean planet by producing more green energy than consumption and by using less or bringing alternate options for plastics. We hope we can improve our range of sustainable products integrating new trends and technical advancements in design.
